From an idea of Angelo Ruggieri, founder of the “Ruggieri Hotels”

In 1970 was built the first Bisceglie’s night club: the Music-Hall.
The famous “Le Blue Bell” from Paris came to perform for the first time in Italy here in Bisceglie.

The Music-Hall became the national location of the contest “Miss Italian Lady”. The Music-Hall became soon a phenomenon and in some tv programs talked about that.

After a deep structural change, in 1986 the Music-Hall becomes a new structure based on quality: Hotel Villa.

In 1988 the first agreements with some soccer teams such as Barletta football club. Then it’s the time for Bari and some other Italian teams.

The structure grows: here’s the new soccer field with natural grass. In this period Italian and European teams come to Bisceglie thanks to this magnificent structure.

In 1990 Villa Hotel adds fifteen rooms in order to improve its ability to welcome guests and tourists.

It’s the year of Soccer World Championship “Italia 1990” with Russia, Romania, Czechoslovakia and, obviously, Italy.
